Here are the answers. Great work this week - we'll be back next week with Season 2, Episode 6!

1. Daylight Savings Time. The lyrics with the time in them were re-sung (by Michael) to reflect Daylight Savings Time (thank me (an hour) later): It was a Good Day, Daysleeper, Waking Up in Vegas, Brick, Friday, Takin’ Care of Business, It’s Raining Men

2. YMCA. Why Can’t This be Love (Y), Pop Musik (by M), If I never see your face again (C ), Just a Kiss (Lady A).

3. Pittsburgh. (Beautiful Day Monster in one sketch asked a travel agent about the cost of a trip to Pittsburgh. No matter what Paul Williams, the travel agent offered, Beautiful Day Monster asked "You got anything cheaper?" until the agent dropped a weight on him, flattening him enough to send him by mail.

4. Inn. The Inn is a tributary of the Danube, and Innsbruck is named after it. FYI The Indus River does not fit the criteria.

5. Croatia.  Checkered flag (and country has a checkered past). Dalmatia is part of Croatia. Split is its second largest city. The country is shaped like a C. Write in from Andrew Dominie

6. O’Toole (Peter). Number of acting Oscar nominations without a win. Peter O’Toole is the only one with 8.  Glenn Close was nominated this year and if she loses, she joins O’Toole.

7. Victoria. As in Queen Victoria, who fits the bill.

8. Karamazov. The jugglers amed for the Brothers Karamazov.

9. Apples. Fuji, Red and Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Gala (How do you like them apples?)

10. Jakarta. The Big Durian. It is a province (special capital region), population 10.56 million.

11. Maris. These are people regularly referenced on a show, but never seen. (Ugly Naked Guy, Mrs. Wolowitz, Bob Sacamano, President Hughes, Charlie.)

12. Torn. Natalie Imbruglia and David Armand (who is actually an English comedian)

13. Bootjacks. Cuz that’s what they are.

14. S’Mores. Graham Cracker, Marshmallow, Chocolate, Skewer and fire (Graham Norton, Cracker Jacks, Firestarter, Marshmello (DJ), skewer in chess, Chocolate Thunder (Darryl Dawkins)). S’Moores is the name of a trivia team, but we are not playing favourites.

15. Longoria. Eva and Evan.

16. Woman. Each album has a song title with woman in it: Woman (Lennon), When a man loves a woman (Percy Sledge), No Woman no Cry (Marley), Man! I Feel Like A Woman! (Shania), American Woman (The Guess Who), I am Woman (Helen Reddy), Black Magic Woman (Santana), Oh Pretty Woman (Roy Orbison).

17. Fez. Their last names end in Z. Chloe-Grace Moretz, Mark Spitz, Cameron Diaz, Frank Oz, Horatio Sanz, Jason Mraz, and Charles Schulz. 10 points is reference to Z being worth 10 in Scrabble.

18. England. Men’s FIFA World Cup winners Germany, Brazil, France, Argentina, Spain, Italy and Uruguay. In the context of the World Cup, England is a country.

19. Queequeg. From Moby-Dick. Also from Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. And it is Scully’s dog in The X-Files, who meets an unfortunate demise.

20. Uberization. Uber founded in 2009.

21. Xiang, Liu. 110m Hurdles 2004 – did not run any races in 2008 and 2012 despite being the favourite. In the cover of Asian Time Magazine. VERY tricky one – it’s not Dara Torres. Xiang appeared on the Asian version of TIME magazine, and Torres does not fit the other criteria (she won medals in 2008).

22. Robertson, Oscar. First to average a Triple-Double for the season. Russell Westbrook has done it three times since.

23. Gauguin. Donald and Kiefer Sutherland portrayed Gauguin in separate films; and Anthony Quinn won Best Supporting Oscar for his portrayal of Gauguin.

24. Zebulon. Zeb Walton, portrayed on The Waltons by Will Geer, as The Grandfather

25. Neeson, Liam

26. Harvard grads. Stockard Channing, TS Eliot, Tommy Lee Jones, Helen Keller, Jeremy Lin, Conan, Wallace Shawn and Natalie Portman.
