February 23, 2021 YB Trivia
The YellowBelly A to Z Trivia Quiz is back, for Season 2, Episode 2. So, you mean we didn't get cancelled? We'll keep this going as long as there's two ingredients: interest and lockdown.
Each answer begins with a different letter of the alphabet. So, once W is gone, she's gone. Email your answers to YellowBellyTrivia@gmail.com by 8:30pm NDT on February 23, 2021. Even if you are 3 seconds late, your answers will be discarded without prejudice.

5. An important object in a famous children’s story made its way into the world of web design, to describe the way to get back to the main page of a site or app. Name the object (plural) in the story.
6. Speaking of children’s stories, there is another similar example, where in this case, a title character of a story makes their way into the world of astronomy as a two-word term to describe a planet's distance from its star that is similar to that of the Earth. Name the two-word term.
7. OK, OK, one more kid lit question. There is a film whose first three words are the same as the first three words of a famous children’s story, but the fourth word is different. There is a character in the film played by someone whose first name begins with a word in Question 6 above. The character she plays starts with 2 consecutive letters of the alphabet (like Gh or Pq), but we can’t think of a single word in English that starts with those two letters. Name the character.
8. He became A SENIOR earlier this month. His popularity was huge 20+ years ago and then he sort of faded into obscurity, but he’s back!...with a movie that’s being released in a couple of weeks. If you erase the rightmost few pixels of the final letter of his first name, you will get something you should not eat. What is his first name?
9. This is such a cool piece of trivial trivia: the film referenced in Question 8 above is a sequel. In the first film, an actress and actor play a royal couple, and the same two people play a completely different royal couple in an unrelated film. Name the actress.
10. Six of the people above have something in common. Who is the odd one out (surname)? |

One of the recipients resembled one of the original guides so much that the committee determined that he was in fact one of the original guides and that would make him 118 years old. Name the peak (exclude the word Mt., Mountain, or Mount).
12. This was the name of a popular television show that ran for 8 seasons (the name of the show often has 2 extra letters added at the end). It’s a first name, a last name, and the “middle” name of a famous three-named person. In addition, it’s the name of more than 20 towns in the US - the largest of which is pronounced a bit differently than it is spelled. It was also a comic strip, a band, and a fictitious reptile. What's the name?
13. This country consists of a continental land mass and many islands, and is most likely named after a European city. There is evidence of civilization dating back 15 centuries. The country has high crime and corruption rates. It has 5 cities with more than 1,000,000 people, and their populations are very similar to Canada’s 5 biggest cities. There is one official language, and more than 30 indigenous languages spoken in different parts of the country. Name the country.
14. This is a mythological place, a nickname for an incredibly wealthy couple’s estate, a Caribbean resort park, a film, television series, a video game, and a song title by several different artists (with one version reaching #1 in several different countries). Name the place/song/park/etc.
