Here are the answers to YellowBelly A to Z week 5. Next week's quiz will not be quite so tough. See you then!

1.     Chad. Chad’s population is about 15.5 million – about one million more than Ontario.
2.     Four thousand and thirty one (4,031). Cat Stevens, Cecil B. DeMille, Trent Reznor, Kim Jong-Un. Cat Mille Trent et Un. = 4,031. Yah, it’s a stretch. Fun though!

10.  Phillips (Phillip). All the acts have doubled (or even tripled) words. Toto, (Lady) Gaga, Goo Goo (Dolls), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, JoJo, Ting Tings. Phillip Phillips seems only fitting

14.  Name. None of these characters has an actual name in their films (loose connection is to the song That’s Not My Name in Question 10).
15.  Beard (Frank). The member of ZZ Top that does not have a monster beard is named Beard. Weird. B’ys started in the 1960s and still at it. (Note Frank does sometimes have a patch of scruff, but not of significance).
16.  Yorick. Character is a skull. Many know the line “Alas poor Yorick I knew him well” But actual line is “Alas, poor Yorick, I knew him Horatio.”
17.  Dennehy (Brian). He always seemed to play a cop, but Dennehy, who recently died, was quite the stage actor.
18.  Zanzibar. Now part of Tanzania, and birthplace of Freddie Mercury.
19.  Istanbul. Which means “city of Islam” or “plenty of Islam” in Turkish.
20.  Uncle Buck. Series is Penny (Oleksiak), Nickel (Film Festival), (March of) Dimes, Quarter(staff), 50 Cent. Next is Buck – i.e. Uncle Buck
21.  Oldsmobile

23.  Rocky. All boxers appeared in one of the Rocky movies either in cameo or as a key character.
24.  Quark. The Ferengi guy was in or reference din 4 different Star Trek franchises and shot for a film but didn’t make it. The answer is NOT Q – different character.
25.  Ashley.
26.  Linger. All words form a different word when spelled backwards. Some wizard named this type of word a semordnilap (Palindromes backwards! Yes, Harpo backwards is Oprah; Pupils backwards is slip-up)
