2. Nicklaus (Jack). In the 1970s (and the 60s, and some of the 80s) Nicklaus was an absolute beast.
3. Khan. Can’t accept Khaaaannnnnn!!! (that’s 12 movies…just kidding, we’ll take it.) A half point to Kahn (we had to be sticky on this – you had the letters!); hard “no” to Ankh and Hank; negative one to Nakh. The movies, clockwise, are Her, Knocked Up, (The) Adventures of Faustus Bidgood, and Notting Hill.
4. Musgravetown. There are 8 NL towns listed here, and Musgravetown has the smallest population based on the 2011 census. Burin/Gambo; Bonavista/Placentia; Musgravetown/Stephenville; Bishops Falls/Harbour Grace.
5. Ukulele.
6. Zaire (the former. Long drive home from (West) Germany, b’ys.
7. Lou. This is Lou from The Simpsons, Chief Wiggum’s right hand man.
8. Calamari. Take the postal abbreviations in order: CA/LA/MA/RI = Calamari

11. West. As in Kanye West. If you swap the two vowels (Y is not a vowel in this case as it begins a syllable, with a yuh sound) you get Kenya – on same continent as Zaire.
12. Obama (Michelle). Plonking the UK’s Harry Styles in the nads.

15. Gilbert (Johnny). He is the voice of those three words “This is Jeopardy!” and his name is mentioned on every show. He is almost a centenarian.
16. Demi Moore. We’ve been sitting on this question for awhile. Demagogue, Demijohn, Demogorg, Demigod could also include Demimoore.
17. Pasta. Translate to Italian and these are all pastas (or pretty close).

19. Japan. Van Halen released a different piece of album art (and slightly different tracks) related to a major cultural issue with conjoined twins. Who knew?
20. Q. BQSTQN. Like, the ultimate “you had ONE JOB”.
21. Shipwrecks. Not “storms” – other plays (like Macbeth) have storms.
22. Rainbow Connection. Green Day, Red Hands, Indigo Girls, Purple Haze, Orange Crush, Yellow, Blue Oyster Cult are the colours of the rainbow.
23. Here and Now. Right Here Right Now (minus the “rights”) plus Round and Round (minus the “rounds” = Here and Now)
24. Fonz. Notably, “jumping the Shark” comes from the Fonz jumping sharks on water skis.
25. AOC. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – she has the O’s in Ocasio with Exclamation points (one upside down as is common in Spanish) before the first O.
26. Yellow Submarine. The lyrics are: And our friends are all aboard/ Many more of them live next door/ And the band begins to play
